Things to do before your move

Two Weeks Before
Make arrangements to have your utilities discontinued at your current place of residence and reconnected at your new home. Be sure to request any refunds for deposits you would have made in the past.

One Week Before
Any flammable items cannot be moved. Moving Companies are forbidden by law to move such items. You must dispose of or drain:

- Gasoline in mowers or Power    Tools
- Paint
- Aerosol Cans

If you live in a rental and can't make arrangements for a walk through with the property manager, at least take photos of the condition of the place. You might need this evidence if there is any accusations against you after you've gone.

The Day Before
